Making Sense of Google’s Latest Changes

ChannelAdvisor published a recent study on the latest development by Google product serach entitled Making sense of Google’s latest changes.

The key findings include:

  1. Linking your Merchant Center and AdWords accounts
  2. UPCs should be used whenever possible (available)
  3. Constantly monitor the Google Product Search for changes
  4. Actively manage seller ratings
  5. Test product extensions provided by Google

The white paper also advises to get ready for mobile commerce, but we find it very much depends on the products and audience.
