ChannelAdvisor published a recent study on the latest development by Google product serach entitled Making sense of Google’s latest changes.
The key findings include:
- Linking your Merchant Center and AdWords accounts
- UPCs should be used whenever possible (available)
- Constantly monitor the Google Product Search for changes
- Actively manage seller ratings
- Test product extensions provided by Google
The white paper also advises to get ready for mobile commerce, but we find it very much depends on the products and audience.
